Application Form & Instructions

All application materials for the Program on Korea must be received by 4:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2005.

You must also include a commitment to expectations form with your application materials.

  • Note:  The autobiography, statement of purpose, and letters of reference should include information about your background, interests, and qualifications relevant to study about Korean social work or social welfare, as well as any philosophical, cross-cultural, international or religious perspectives. Additionally, your ability to engage in vigorous international travel and positive group dynamics should also be addressed.

  • Kansas/Asia Scholars (KAS) Program application forms
  • Autobiography
  • Statement of purpose
  • Transcript or ARTS form
  • Two letters of reference (at least one from a social work course instructor)
  • Commitment to KAS-Korea Program Expectations form--signed
