  • Study Abroad in Korea: Culture, Social Welfare and Spiritual Diversity

The summer 2010 Study Abroad course in South Korea is now accepting applications (up to March 1, 2010).

The program includes 3 weeks in Korea plus pre-departure orientation and post-trip debriefing (online for non-KU students) at a great price. It immerses students in Korean culture, history, contemporary life, and spiritual diversity with a focus on social welfare. Faculty from KU and Hallym University (in Chuncheon City) provide lectures, mentoring, and field visits to social work agencies, to Seoul, and to beautiful mountains and ocean areas. American students also connect with Korean students for mutual support and learning.
