Navigation Tips

      The photos, background colors, and the back buttons have all been designed to aid one's navigation of this site.

The photos

     There are many photos on this site. They have been organized in various folders according to a specific theme. As a way
to quicken the load up time to your computer, the photos have all been made thumbnail size. The photos themselves serve as the buttons to link you to another page containing more photos, or they may link you to a page containing an enlarged version of the photo you clicked. The design behind this is explained below under 'background colors'.

Background colors

      There are two background colors used in this site light blue and light green.

     A photo that appears upon a light green background repesents an individual image. The title underneath it refers specifically to that image. For example,

This photo is found within the subfolder Croatia, 00; which is found within the folder Acknowledging Life and Death. Clicking on the photo will open a page
containing just this photo, and the photo will be a
larger version than the thumbnail photo that was clicked.

     A photo that appears upon a light blue background represents a folder containing many images. The title underneath this photo lists the common theme of the images inside. For example,

This photo is found within the folder Acknowledging Life and Death. Clicking on the photo will open a page full of a number of thumbnail photos concerning Life and Death which were all taken in Croatia in the year 2000.

Back Buttons/Links

       As there are many folders, subfolders, and subfodlers within subfolders, in this sites design, each page has been provided with at least one back button. The back buttons that appear will always be found on the same place for each page, located around the title of the page, as illustrated below.

Back to ....

    The link you find in the upper left corner of the page. It will always take you back to the Mainpage of the specific spiritual tradition/theme that you are currently navigating.

Back to Gallery Mainpage        

      This link will be on every page and you will always
find it in the upper left corner. It will take you back to
the Mainpage of the photo gallery (the one that has the photos/links to the various spiritual traditons/themes).

     In some instances, you may find a link to the bottom left of the title. This will happen when there is a main theme/folder within the particular religious tradition/theme folder that you are navigating (for example, Protestanism within Christianity). The link will take you back to the Mainpage of this particular sub-theme.

   There will never be a back button/link in the bottom right hand corner of the page. Please use your computer's back button to navigate backward through individual pages.
